On Friday, Nov. 21, a small group from both bargaining committees met briefly with management.
The union committee talked with company representatives about missing or conflicting information regarding the proposed withdrawal from the pension plan. The union requested additional information, including an up-to-date estimate of the withdrawal liability and more detailed information on the effects a withdrawal would have on current and future retirees.
The next bargaining session will be scheduled after the requested information is received and evaluated.
